Wired Coming to Apple’s iPad — With Adobe (WSJ)
Wired magazine’s iPad application is expected to hit Apple’s app store on Wednesday, capping a nearly year-long effort that thrust the Conde Nast publication into the middle of the public feud between Apple and Adobe. The app, an e-version of Wired’s June issue, has 41 interactive editorial features including an exclusive clip from Pixar’s “Toy Story 3” and a graphic that lets users fly around Mars.

Wired will charge $4.99 per issue. When new issues launch, they will be part of a library within a single app in the iTunes store. Conde Nast executives said they will introduce a subscription model in the fall and that they expect to sell subscriptions through iTunes.
